Religious figures to be involved in fight against drug addiction in Azerbaijan

Religious figures will be involved in the discussion in regions, expanding the participation of public institutions and such events in order to strengthen the fight against illicit trafficking in drugs, psychotropic substances, and their precursors, as well as abuse, APA reports.

According to the information, it has been reflected in the Work Plan of State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking for 2021.

According to Work Plan, commissions on combating drug addiction and drug trafficking in the city and district executive authorities will be regularly implemented by involving of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, and non-governmental organizations.
