Rendering service to customers in public catering places at open air to be allowed from August 18

Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has made a decision on making amendment on the toughened quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Yervlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad, Mingachevir cities, and Absheron, Barda, Salyan, Khachmaz, Goranboy, Goygol regions, Task Force told APA.

Under the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, rendering service to customers in public catering places at open air is allowed from August 18.

Service will be delivered to customers in place from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in public catering places, as well as cafes, restaurants, tea houses, and another such kind of places at open air in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Yervlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad, Mingachevir cities, and Absheron, Barda, Salyan, Khachmaz, Goranboy, Goygol regions (excepting use of hookah equipment and gathering of more than 6 people around a table).

For purposes of this decision, the public catering facility means a property complex used for the purpose of implementation of service activity connected with organization of production, processing, sale and consumption of food products (restaurant, cafe, canteen, snack bar, buffet, spaces of kiosk type, tea houses and other similar facilities).

The open-air area of public catering facility means an area that is completely open to air flow from at least three sides (without any structure higher than one meter and without other structural obstacles) or an area with completely open top (upper side, i.e. in the open air).

The opportunities for use of disinfectant solution at entrance and exit and cash desk of public catering facilities, as well as placement of relevant devices (dispensers) for use of disinfectant solution and the constant operability of those devices should be ensured.

Based on the decision, the activity of the public catering facilities whose functioning has been permitted is organized in accordance with requirements of the existing rules, sanitary norms and methodological instructions.
