Snow to fall, blizzard to be observed in Baku - WARNING

A warning has been issued regarding worsening of weather, National Hydrometeorological Service told APA.

Northwest wind is expected to blow in Baku and Absheron peninsula from the morning of March 12 to the morning of 13, its speed is forecasted to reach 15-20 m/s, sometimes 23-25 m/s, in some places of the peninsula 28-33 m/s.

Intermittent rain on March 11 will switch to sleet on March 12, to snow in the daytime, it is forecasted to be intensive in some places, a blizzard is expected in the second half of the day. The temperature will decrease by 3-5 degrees in comparison with previous days and will be 0 degrees in the night from March 12 to 13.
