State border between Azerbaijan and Georgia closed for 10 days

A telephone conversation was held today between Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA .

In order to ensure security and health of the citizens of both countries, according to the mutual agreement of the heads of government, the border between Azerbaijan and Georgia will be closed for a period of ten days from 14:00 on March 14, 2020 for all vehicles.

The necessary corridor will be provided for the departure of Georgian citizens from the territory of Azerbaijan and the arrival of Azerbaijani citizens in the territory of Georgia. At the same time, a transit corridor will be operated for the transportation of goods.
