“Azerbaijan will not purchase the coronavirus vaccine that not approved by WHO,” said Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) in answer to a query of APA.
It was noted that if the WHO approves the vaccine, then it will be obtained.
“It does not matter if the vaccine is made in the United States, Turkey or any other country. If there is an approved vaccine, it will be clear when it will be used,” TABIB said.
Note that the UK on Wednesday became the first country in the world to approve the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for use and said that it will be rolled out from next week.
The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has not been approved by WHO yet.
