“Serious work is underway on two vaccines at the medical headquarters. The first is flu vaccine, and the second one is a vaccine against COVİD-19, which interests all of the world today,” said the head of Department of TABIB Yagut Garayeva at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
She said the vaccine must be completely harmless and approved: “The vaccine that is used against the coronavirus should be the vaccine approved by the WHO.”
According to Y. Garayeva, online conference of Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations was held the last week: “Azerbaijan has also attended this meeting. Discussions are underway to get the approved vaccine from GAVI and bring it to the country as soon as possible. "
