“The social and economic factors can’t allow for the extension of the strict quarantine regime for a long period”, said Ramin Bayramli, chairman of Board of Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) at the press conference dedicated to softening of the restrictions of the special quarantine regime in accordance with the sanitary and epidemiological situation, held today by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

He said currently in a number of states, the sanitary and quarantine regime is being reviewed and softened.

"Austria, Germany, and a number of countries have decided to remove the tight isolation regime. It is necessary to gradually relax the special quarantine regime under control. We call on everyone to national solidarity in this area. With the abolition of the quarantine regime, the second wave of infection is likely. The greatest dangers may lie ahead. We follow the opinion of researchers. Whether the problem of vaccination will be solved within the next year, it's under question. Keeping the infection under control is crucial. Azerbaijani people should see this as a matter of national security. We should not forget that the enemy will be close in the coming year," said Ramil Bayramli.
