"It's hard to say anything about the mutation of the virus," said Yagut Garayeva, head of the department of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units at the press conference held by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
She noted that this is a medical issue: "If we do not conduct or have not conducted research on the virus, we have no evidence, today it is very early to say that the virus has mutated or weakened. If the number of our patients has decreased, we must take into account that this is the result of a long-term tightened quarantine regime. Therefore, we must come out of the toughened quarantine regime in stages."
