Task Force: Another easing to be applied from September 8

The Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has disseminated information, APA reports.

The information says as a result of the preventative measures implemented in connection with the application of the special quarantine regime in the Republic of Azerbaijan and thanks to responsible behavior of citizens, the spread of the coronavirus (COVID -19) infection has been limited, the decline in number of infection cases has been achieved.

Beginning from August 5, some restrictions have been lifted in the cities and regions where the strict quarantine regime existed, as well as in the whole country and the implementation of the easing measures has been ensured.

According to the sanitary and epidemiological situation, it has been decided to implement extra easing measures in the following areas from 00:00 a.m. on September 8, 2020:

Rendering of service inside public catering facilities until 00:00 a.m. is permitted by complying with relevant quarantine rules and in accordance with decision # 237 dated July 6, 2020 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan “About regulation of some issues related to reception of customers at public catering facilities during period of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic”;

The restrictions applied to entry and exit to/from Baku, Sumgait cities, and Absheron region are lifted (except for inter-city and inter-regional passenger transportation).

Proceeding from the existing sanitary and epidemiological situation and for the prevention of fresh virus infection cases, we once again call on everybody to comply with requirements of the applied quarantine regime and the medical and prophylactic rules.
