"Today, the meeting of Taskforce took place, and some decisions were adopted", said Ramin Bayramli, chairman of Board of Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

According to him, all measures taken against coronavirus in our country are under the direct control of the President and the First Vice President of Azerbaijan: "Since March 2020, the coronavirus has been declared a pandemic by the WHO. Preventive measures continue in our country, new laboratories are being constructed. The country has all the facilities, equipment, and supplies to detect the virus. There are 18 laboratories in the country for regular diagnosis of the virus. About 115,000 tests have been conducted. With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the capabilities of modern laboratories are being further expanded. The laboratory has been operating in Sheki since April 20. The laboratory will start operating in Sumgayit on April 27. This will further expand diagnostic capabilities. The private sector, PASHA Holding has provided special support in the acquisition of equipment. These devices are available in very few countries, they consist of modern systems made in Europe. At the same time, the reagents are made in England. Therefore, we are confident in the results of the analysis."
