Temperature drops to -17 degrees in northern regions of Azerbaijan

The weather condition in the country’s northern region has sharply changed beginning from the evening hours of yesterday, APA’s northern bureau reports.

Snow has being fallen in Guba, Gusar, and Khizi regions beginning from late hours of January 23.

Temperature has dropped to – 17 degrees in Laza village of Gusar.

Most amount of snow has been recorded in Gusar territory. The snow cover height has reached 15 cm in Laza village of Gusar region.

Height of snow cover is 6 cm in Khinalig, 7 cm in Griz village of Guba region, as well as 2 cm in Altiaghaj settlement of Khizi.

Snowfall is continuing in northern regions at the moment.
