Temperature to drop 6 C, snow and sleet to fall in Azerbaijan - WARNING

On January 23 strong southwest wind will blow in Baku and Absheron peninsula and it will be replaced with strong north west wind on January 24, National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.

Rainy weather is expected from January 24 until the morning of January 25. The rain will occasionally intensify from January 24 in the evening, to January 25 in the morning, sleet is predicted in some places.

On January 24 temperature will drop 4-6 C in comparison to the previous day. The temperature will be 0-3 C.

Weather in Azerbaijan's regions is expected to change sharply in the evening from January 23 to 25, it will be unstable.
It will be rainy occasionally, sleet will fall in some places, snow will fall in mountainous and foothill areas. It is likely to deteriorate in some areas.
On January 23, strong southwest winds will be replaced by strong northwest winds on January 24. The temperature will drop 4-6 C in comparison with the previous days. The roads are likely to be frozen in mountainous and foothill areas
