"It is already for the third time in the second half of February that weather is forecasted to worsen. But Arctic air mass will head from north to south, will cover Azerbaijan. Currently, weather temperature is 10-15 degrees less than norm, 25-30 degrees of cold is recorded in Central Russia," said Head of National Hydrometeorological Service Umayra Taghiyeva, APA reports.

According to her, impact of cold anticyclone will show itself firstly in northern and eastern regions of the country in the evening of February 23 and most snow is expected to fall in these regions: "Snowy and strong windy weather condition will cause a blizzard. Roads will be icy.

Atmospheric pressure in the anticyclone over Central Russia in 780 mm. An increase in atmospheric pressure in Baku will be unfavorable for meteorologically-sensitive people.

February 24 is expected to be the coldest day of this winter season. Thus, if the weather temperature is 4-5 degrees of cold in Absheron, it is 7-8 degrees less than the perennial norm.
