“The weather is abnormally warm in December this year. Temperature of the weather exceeds normal”, the Director of the National Department of Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Tagiyeva told APA.
She stated the warmest day of month was December 24: “Maximum temperature was about 15.4 C in capital on that day, which exceeds perennial normal by 6.2 degrees.”
According to U. Tagiyeva, severe changes are not expected in weather condition in following days: “The temperature, which is higher than normal, will last for the following 2-3 days.”
