“This year, main issue for WHO is to eliminate inequality in the field of health” said the WHO representative in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci said at the international webinar “COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical aspects of vaccination” organized by the Center for International Relations Analysis, APA reports.

She noted that the goal was put forward to launch vaccination against COVID-19 in all countries until April 7: “We call all countries to stay true to their agreements within the framework of COVAX. Some countries sign bilateral agreements, some of them do not do this. We support the vaccination of medical workers within 190 days. Emergence of new virus strains will be less effective of vaccines. So we have to implement vaccination faster. Scale of production must be increased”.
