The head of the representation of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci has commented on news about the subsequent development of inflammation of vessels in children infected with coronavirus in a number of countries currently, said Hande Harmanci at WHO’s online briefing, APA reports.

Currently, the WHO’s central office in Geneva is investigating this issue currently: "Every day, the conversations are conducted there with thousands of people. Currently, there is also a group consisting of doctors working with COVID patients. They are contacted every day through the online conference. This issue has been discussed there as well, but as for now, no concrete idea can be told about this disease. Children’s health is very important to us. But I would like also to say that the coronavirus disease develops in children with milder symptoms. The death cases also take place, but their number is very little, in other words, this disease is not so much risky for children. Currently, the issue regarding the spreading disease is being investigated".
