WHO mission is on a visit to Azerbaijan to support the fight against COVID-19, WHO Office in Azerbaijan said in an answer to an inquiry of APA.
The visit is scheduled for July 21-August 2
It was said that the purpose of the mission is to assess the current epidemiological situation in the country, to support the strengthening of measures to combat COVID-19, to identify gaps in the field of risk communication and work with communities, and to provide relevant recommendations on the mentioned.
On the sidelines of the mission, it is planned to hold meetings with local and international partners, as well as to conduct epidemiological assessments in the cities of Shamakhi and Ganja, along with Baku.
The mission includes WHO experts David Novillo Ortiz, Shahin Huseynov, Elsa Maria Negro Kalduch, Anna Borshevska and Cetri Regmi.
