“To date, 660 thousand people died from COVID-19,” said David Novillo Ortiz, Head of the World Health Organization Mission on a visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to him, the fight against COVID should be continued: "After very strict quarantine measures, people got tired and wanted to return to normal life. Therefore, the increasing of re-infection cases is observed in some European countries. But we must do our utmost to prevent infection. The disease has not vanished yet. If we don't follow the rules, the spread will increase more, which will affect our lives. For this, it is very important that people are isolated and avoid contact. There is no need to try to increase infection cases again. "
