“The plan of the phased exit from the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan is being developed in accordance with recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). But it is still early to calm down and to decrease the applied measures”, said Hande Harmanci, the WHO representative in Azerbaijan at the virtual press conference, APA reports.
“For some period we still will not be able to return to the previous condition. It is necessary to stay at home and to observe the social distance. Currently, the Azerbaijani government is working on the softening of the special quarantine regime beginning from May 5. We also try our best to provide support as much as we can. I thank the Azerbaijani people for supporting the government in hard times and for complying with the recommendations. The fight against the virus cannot be effective without the full participation of the population. Now we need to be more unanimous”, H. Harmanci stressed.
