WHO: Twenty-five vaccine candidates for coronavirus are in human testing

“Twenty-five candidate vaccines against coronavirus are already in the stage of human testing. Vaccines are expected to pass to the 3rd and 4th stages” said David Novillo Ortiz, Head of the World Health Organization Mission on a visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to him, there are currently 265 candidate vaccines in the stage preparing against coronavirus: “Some vaccines are in the first and second stages. They will pass to the third stage next month. We have information about candidate vaccine of Russia. The more candidates vaccines means the better the chances of success. At present, the success rate is around 10%. The WHO has developed a global framework for vaccines and other tools. ”
