On January 8, changeable cloudy and sometimes gloomy weather is expected in Baku and Absheron peninsula, National Hydrometeorology Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.
Fog and drizzle will be observed in some places in the night and daytime. Southwest wind will be replaced by northwest wind in the daytime.
The temperatures on the Absheron Peninsula will be 4-6 °C in the night and 9-13 °C in the morning, while in Baku the temperatures will be 4-6 °C in the night and 10-13 °C in the morning.
Atmospheric pressure will decrease from higher than the norm - 764 mm mercury column to 760 mm mercury column. Relative humidity will be 70-80% at night and in the daytime.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, precipitation is not expected on January 8, but rain will fall in some southern regions at night, snow in mountainous regions. Fog will be observed in various places. West wind will blow and occasionally intensify.
The weather temperature at night will be -2- +3 °C, in the daytime 7-12 °C of heat, in the mountains at night 0-5°C, in the daytime 3-7 °C.
