Worldwide COVID deaths hit new daily record at 16,362

The number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths jumped by 16,362 on January 13, marking another record daily increase, global coronavirus data showed, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The United States remained the biggest contributor to the death toll with another 4,327 fatalities registered, followed by the United Kingdom, Mexico, Germany, and Brazil.

At the same time, new infections climbed by 745,811.
