"Most important point for us is not total number of tests. Main point is number of infection cases among tests," said Head of the Disease Control and Prevention Department of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) Yagut Garayeva at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Minister, APA reports.
She said that active patients include those, who are treated both at home and at hospitals: "After switching to a strict quarantine regime at the end of December, a severe decrease has been observed in number of infection cases. In addition, most infection cases are observed in Baku. 52.9% of infections are in Baku. Infection number remains high in Absheron, Sumgayit, Ganja-Gazakh region as it was during the year. Infection rate is high in Khatai, Yasamal, Binagadi districts of Baku city.
