State Committee raises issue of paying money to housewives

Chairperson of State Committee on Family, Women, and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova has commented on issue of child allowances, APA reports.

Hijran Huseynova said at the press-conference held today that a large amount of funds have been allocated for social issues in recent two years with initiatives of head of state.

Chairperson of the State Committee noted that many women do not work still: “Several countries allocate special funds to appreciate housewives’ labor much more. We have raised the issue currently. If women, bringing up children get support, it will also be a support to the family. We are trying on this issue at the moment.”
