On September 10, cassation appeal against the decision to block several websites has been considered at Supreme Court, APA reports citing information on the website of Supreme Court.

According to the decision taken during the trial chaired by Judge Alesgar Aliyev, the decision to block the websites has been canceled and sent to the Baku Court of Appeal for review.

According to the decision posted on the website of Supreme Court, Azadlig.Info LLC, Azadlig.org, Meydan TV, Turan TV, "Azərbaycan saatı" (Azerbaijan Hour) and Electronic Security Center are listed as interested in the case.

But Elchin Sadigov, the lawyer of Meydan TV, told APA that the decision has been made only for Meydan TV.

Note that in May 2017, Sabail District Court made a decision on blocking the newspaper “Azadliq”, Radio Azadliq, Azerbaijani hour program, Turan TV and Meydan TV websites based on the claim of Electronic Security Center under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

Baku Court of Appeal has not satisfied the complaint against that decision.

After the decision of Baku Court of Appeal a cassation appeal had been sent to Supreme Court.
