Weather temperature to drop 5-8 °C in Azerbaijan, snow, rain to fall - WARNING

The weather in Azerbaijan will worsen, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.

The weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be unstable from evening of November 20 to 22 with intermittent rain and intensification in some areas. North wind will blow. The temperature will be lower than climate norm.

From evening of November 20 to 23, the weather will be unstable and rainy starting from northern and eastern regions, snow is predicted to fall mainly in the mountanious regions. It is expected to intensify in some places. East wind will blow; will be intensive in various places.

Temperature of the weather will drop 5-8 °C. Water level of rivers will increase, especially in some mountainous rivers of Lankaran-Astara region short-term flood is expected.
