Suspension bridge is being constructed in Zagatala

Construction of suspension bridge is underway in Zagatala region of Azerbaijan, region transport office chief Movlud Gahramanov told APA. According to him, the suspension bridge is to be constructed on the Tala River. The new bridge intended for the cars of all kind is 160 meter long in length and 11 meter long in width.
Movlud Gahramanov said the roading is stopped temporarily because of ongoing destruction of old bridge and temporary passage-way is being constructed for the pedestrians. After the construction of passage-way is finished the old bridge will be destroyed. He also said the new bridge will be erected together with the specialists from Baku.
The old bridge on the River of Tala in Zagatala is erected in 1928. The heavy rain in recent years have ruined the bridge. /APA/
