Raids to be conducted to find waifs next week

Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Family, Women, Children Problems will start joint raids to find homeless children together with Interior Ministry and Education Ministry next week. The chief of children problems department of the Committee Sanubar Alizadeh told the APA.
She said they will assist in returning waifs to their families and take them to “Place of hope†asylum house. Alizadeh saying that waifs had no exact statistics stated that 2007-2010 National Action Plan has been prepared on the basis of law “Negligence and law violation of under agesâ€.
National Action Plan intends to find homeless children, investigate the causes of their homeless, solve this problem, open asylum centers for waifs. The document has been presented to the Cabinet of Minister for approval. /APA/
