Azerbaijan’s Health Minister Teymur Musayev held a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koja, the ministry told APA.
During the phone call, the Azerbaijani minister informed his Turkish counterpart that in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, medical facilities located in Baku and other cities, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, were prepared for the treatment of earthquake victims.
“In this regard, 2000 beds have been allocated in the medical institutions. In case of need, Azerbaijani medical specialists are fully ready to provide medical support to the treatment of the injured people.”
Teymur Musayev wished speedy recovery for the injured and wished patience from Allah to the families of the victims.
