16 more Azerbaijani citizens who were repatriated to our country from Syria in the last months of the last year were provided with social rehabilitation for a while in the social service institution of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and handed over to their relatives, APA reports.
Three of those repatriated are women, while 13 are children.
At the next stage, social workers and a psychologist of the Agency visited the families where they were placed to support the reintegration and social rehabilitation of those persons in the community where they live.
The state of each repatriate was assessed and provided with health, education, employment, and other necessary services along with social rehabilitation based on an individualized intervention plan.
Currently, the Social Services Agency is conducting social rehabilitation work with more than 400 repatriates.
