A ceremony of presentation of state awards to field employees, awarded with relevant orders of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 6 - professional holiday of communications and information technology workers, has been held, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA.

It was noted that a network of 4G mobile technologies was established in about 50 percent of the territories liberated from occupation last year, 35 percent of television and radio broadcasting was restored, and postal services were launched in four directions. At the same time, the construction of 1,400 km of fiber-optic lines continues. Currently, work is underway on the construction of more than 1,500 km of roads, 3 airports and strategic railways connecting the region with other regions.
