“Prior to this 12 people who identified selectively that they were infected with Omicron strain, all of them fully recovered, there is no problem in their health,” TABIB said in a response to APA’s inquiry.
It was noted that in general, according to international experience, currently, Omicron surpasses Delta strain, in the countries where it spread, and the majority of infections are related to Omicron: “Therefore there is no need to separately identify whether detected positive result is related to the new strain or not.”
