Amendment to be made to imposing remote work regime in Azerbaijan

Labor legislation discussed with members of American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan

A meeting with the members of American Chamber of Commerce has been held, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection told APA.

Several proposals of the Chamber, as well as proposals to the legislation on implementing labor functions at home and change on distance works and legal regulations on labor relations in such form of work were brought to attention. Regarding this proposal it was noted that the new draft law on making amendments to Labor Code notes remote work ”, based on electronic, software-technical, telecommunication means of labor functions, located outside the employer's workplaces, in another place suitable for the performance of labor functions, such as at home, hotel, etc.
