"There is a probability of preparation of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in US labs," said a professor at the Columbia University Jeffrey Sachs in the panel on "Management of global health" within the framework of the IX Global Baku Forum on "Threats to the Global Order", APA reports.
Professor of Columbia University has noted that he first thought that novel coronavirus appeared naturally. But at the end of the pandemic, the researcher has come to a conclusion that the virus may be leaked from a laboratory in the US.
"The US and China have not been transparent on the origin of the virus so far," Professor stressed.
