ANAMA disseminates information on landmine explosion in Fuzuli

Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has disseminated the next information about the mine incident that occurred in Fuzuli region, the press service of ANAMA told APA.

The information reads that on August 2, an explosion of anti-personnel landmine occurred, while the employee of local demining company Gilman Huseynov, born in 1976 was conducting his service duty in the territory of the Fuzuli region.

As a result, QIlman Huseynov, born in 1976, was placed in the hospital, and his right leg was amputated. Currently, his condition is stable. Shukurov Yadigar, born in 1990, and Alizadeh Rovshan, born in 1991, who were nearby at the time of the mine incident, underwent necessary medical examinations at the hospital. The conditions of both are assessed as stable, they are under medical supervision.

ANAMA once again calls on citizens to be disciplined and responsible due to the current mine threat in the liberated areas from the occupation.
