Appeal to international organizations prepared regarding illegal exploitation of natural fields in de-occupied areas

Reserves of gold, silver, and copper deposits in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan have been announced, says the Chairman of the Board of the Geological Exploration Agency, Ali Aliyev at a briefing for journalists, APA reports.

He said that there were 11,5 tons of resources in the "Soyudlu" gold deposit: "There were also 6,5 tons of gold, 10,75 tons of silver, nearly 4 thousand tons of copper in "Vejnali", 457 thousand tons of copper in the "Damirli" field, and 13,7 tons of gold in the "Gizilbulag" field. However, it is not correct to say a specific number about the volumes today since they were exploited by the occupying regime. These numbers are currently in the calculation phase. An appeal to international organizations has been prepared by the relevant state institutions regarding exploitation."
