A new astronomic station will be established in Karabakh zone, said Executive Director of ANAS Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, professor Nariman Ismayilov, APA reports.
He said that issues such as placement of modern robotic telescopes, their control from the Observatory, creation of a central space landfill for study of the Earth through satellite observations in the Observatory were supported by the leadership of ANAS: "Implementation of this work will be a very important step in the transformation of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory into an international scientific center for the study of far and near space."
