Azerbaijan and Romani mulled future cooperation issues

A meeting was held between delegation lead by co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Trade-Economic Relations and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Romania from Azerbaijan, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev and delegation led by Marius-Constantin Budăi Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Romania, APA reports.

At the meeting, it was stated that there is a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Romania based on friendly relations, and the relations between the two countries, which are expanding year by year, also include the social sphere.

The importance of mutual visits and meetings held in the past period, especially the Action Plan signed in November 2022, which defines measures for cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor and social protection, was emphasized in the expansion of social cooperation.

It was pointed out that the Intergovernmental Commission is an important platform for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of labor and social protection.

The importance of Alat Free Economic Zone was mentioned. Development of bilateral relations in the field of transport and logistics, as well as opportunities for direct flights, agriculture, investment, social, education, etc. issues of future cooperation in the fields were discussed.
