The passage of Armenian-origin residents leaving Azerbaijan’s Garabagh, and moving to Armenia through the Lachin border checkpoint was ensured. The congestion is being observed in the area. They are moving in the direction of Gorus crossing through the Lachin border checkpoint, APA reports.
Lachin border checkpoint is working in enhanced mode due to the large number of Armenian-origin people fleeing Garabagh and going to Armenia. Their passage continued throughout the night too.
The majority of Armenians use their private cars.
The congestion is being observed in the territories of Armenia too due to the large number of Armenians who leave Garabagh.
