Azerbaijani delegation attends UN COP-27 Climate Change Conference

COP27 UN Climate Change Conference has kicked off in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, APA reports citing the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan is represented at the conference by a delegation headed by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev.

The main topics of the conference, which will last until November 18, are reducing the impacts of climate change, sustainability, and adaptation to climate risks, financing the relevant field, and strengthening international cooperation.

On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation had a meeting with the minister of the Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Yasmine Fouad, and other meetings were planned.
