According to the instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, agile rescue forces of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations in Turkiye continue operations of eliminating consequences of the quake and search-rescue operations without interruption, the Ministry told APA.
The rescuers of the MES, as a result of the search-rescue operations, carried out in the Kahramanmarash region, seriously damaged by the earthquake, rescued 44 people-including 9 children alive under the rubbles, and removed the bodies of 164 people, and delivered them accordingly.
