Azerbaijani Minister: "Forecast for admission to high schools this year is more than 50 thousand"

"Education gives long-term results. Only constructive criticism takes the education forward," said Azerbaijani Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev at the presentation ceremony of the 12th edition of "Abituriyent" journal, APA reports.

He noted that the analyses of the State Examination Center (SEC) show that accessibility to high education increased: "This is good news. But it has enough risky sides. It may be seen in the analyses of the SEC that about 50 percent of 16- to 17-year-olds do not get a profession. If we take into account that every year about 150,000 children are born in the country, this means that 75 people do not have any formal profession".
