Hydrometeorological network restoration works are implemented actively in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, said Mukhtar Babayev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, APA reports.
"To estimate the surface water resources, 11 automatic hydrometeorological stations on the 10 rivers and an automatic agrometeorological station in Zangilan district, Aghali village has been installed and put in use, said M.Babayev.
According to him, at the same time, the installation of 5 automatic meteorological stations in Shusha, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Kalbajar, and Zangilan districts is intended: “The data obtained in real-time from the said stations will be transferred to the situation center, and analyzed. As you know, no observations have been done for 30 years and unfortunately, we don’t possess any statistics of natural phenomena in there.”
