A delegation led by Kazakh Prosecutor General Berik Assylov has arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit to attend the 33rd meeting of the Coordination Council of General Prosecutors of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the 4th meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states, APA reports.
At a bilateral meeting with his Kazakh counterpart, Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev emphasized that the mutual trust and dialogue between the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev play a pivotal role in development of relations in various fields between the two countries which share ethnic, historical, cultural and religious commonalities, in comprehensive strengthening of bilateral relations and the creation of new opportunities for cooperation.
