In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover increased by 63,6% to stand at USD 10 bln. 908 mln, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.
This indicator was USD 6 bln. 668 mln. in the same period of the previous year.
During the reporting period, USD 7,981 bln. of foreign trade turnover fell on share of export, while USD 2 bln. 927 mln on import. Export increased by 1,9 times, while imports by 15,7% over the past one year.
The positive balance in foreign trade increased by 3,1 times to stand at USD 5 bln. 54 mln.
