In accordance with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who went to the brotherly country in order to eliminate the consequences of the strong earthquake that occurred in the Republic of Türkiye and support the search and rescue operations, went to Kahramanmaras, where the earthquake occurred, APA's correspondent to Shusha reports.
Azerbaijani rescuers are currently going to Kahramanmaras by special buses from Shakir Pasha Airport in Adana to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake.
It is reported that the second group of rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan will also arrive at Adana Shakirpasha Airport in the next few hours.
