"Number of travelers increased due to the summer season. This is a kind of risk factor in itself," said Nazrin Mustafayeva, head of the Infection Control Organization of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), APA reports.
According to her, people spend a long time indoors during flights, which increases the risk of infection: "In this case, it is recommended to use masks. Fortunately, the disease now has mild symptoms, and cases of aggravations and deaths have decreased. However, it is very important for our citizens who are in the risk group to protect themselves. We recommend that people spend more time outdoors and get booster shots".
