Baku hosts training of Council of Europe on "Access to Information and Official Documents"

Baku hosted a training jointly organized by the Baku Office of the Council of Europe and the Academy of Justice on "Access to Information and Official Documents," Prosecutor General's Office told APA

According to the information, employees of the Prosecutor General's Office attended the training on “Access to Information and official documents” organized by the Baku Office of the Council of Europe and the Academy of Justice within the framework of the project “Promoting gender equality and other ethical standards in Azerbaijani media” for employees of prosecution authorities and lawyers. The event consisted of two parts, followed by question-and-answer sessions on each topic, as well as involved participants in the study of scenarios and practical work.

Ambassador Zoltan Hernyes, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Baku, and Elchin Khalafov, Vice-Rector of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, opened the event.

The event participants made a decision to use the knowledge gained during the training in the measures taken to improve the quality of professional training in the prosecutor's office.
