"Preventing the danger of mines and saving people's lives in the world is the most important task of our company, and we work for it. We are cooperating with the ANAMA company to clear mines in the liberated areas of Azerbaijan and allow people to return to their homes more safely," Technical Director of Explosives Engineering Services at UK's Rps Energy Ltd David Denman said, APA reports.

"The existing mine problem in the areas poses a serious threat to the safe return of the former IDPs to their native lands, to the lives and health of the people who are involved in the restoration and construction works operating in those areas, and at the same time to the visitors. Within the framework of cooperation, 51,000 hectares of territory in the liberated regions were analyzed with the use of artificial intelligence. I would like to inform you with regret that 3 people lost their lives as a result of the last mine explosion, and we continue our activities to prevent these tragedies. The landmine incident on April 28 once again testifies to the serious mining of territories and the danger it poses to human life," he said.
