There will be a Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan this year, Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the International Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office told APA.
According to him, contracts with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah are expected to be signed in the coming days:
"Due to the coronavirus, last year's Hajj conditions will be slightly relaxed. Last year, people up to the age of 65 were allowed to go on pilgrimage.
This year, there will most likely be no age limit for visitors. However, two doses of the coronavirus vaccine are likely to be required."
